The Toasted Yolk Cafe in Houston

My family and friends really enjoyed. The waitresses have given great service and was very friendly. I will be telling my other friends about this place, and I will most definitely will be going back...😃

I'm a new customer and decided to try this place out. Very popular what I ordered was great, French toast, cheese grits and Turkey sausage. The service was quick and the wait time was about six minutes. The restaurant was very clean organized and the staff had their best attitude on display. I'll diffintly stop by more often to try the other menu options.

I love the food but it doesn't love me maybe ill have to bring in food food while my family eats cause they love this place

The Alaskan Arnold is to die for! Came in for brunch and waited about 15 mins to be sat, I love the texting system. Tina took excellent care of us.

1st visit provoked by high reviews. I was NOT at all impressed with this overpriced breakfast food. Denny's is definitely delivering better tasting food. I had the Golden omelette which was just O.K. I opted for grits which was lukewarm & lumpy. As well as the hashbrown casserole which seemed more like overcooked rice with cheeses mixed in. Very mushy & over done with pepper. Mimosa was, eh. For what it's worth, our server Kaniz was wonderful.

Came here on a Sunday 30 mins before closing and was greeted with friendly smiles. I decided to sit at the bar since I came by myself. Bartender was kind and attentive. I ordered a orange/pineapple Mimosas... Delicious!!! And the Eiffel tower omelette (basically a build your own). Everything came out fast hot and tasty. Will definitely be back again!!!

If you are ever in Houston take the time to go here. Amazing food .

The Alaskan Arnold was superb. Definitely well-made and the eggs were the best I've had in a long time! Tina was an amazing waitress aswell!

Another delicious breakfast with our family. The coffee is consistently good too. The West Coast Arnold is my favorite and the only thing I order.

Always wonderful. Had the soup and salad combo. Potato and cheese soup paired with the shrimp and cilantro salad.

Very good amount of food. I got a burrito and it was very big. Very tasty to.The omelet just tasted like normal egg tho. Nothing special.

Servers are very attentive and sweet. However, I told them that am allergic to eggs and wheat. As you can see with the salmon they gave me these fried chips that gave me a reaction. The salmon was delicious but not everyone finished their food.

The food is really good and the portions are big. It is worth the price. It is a nice place and the servers were friendly and the wait wasn't long. I came to have breakfast with my friends and it was a nice experience.

I came here thinking it was gonna be a little cute place with little cute plates and small portions. I was so surprised when the food came out and it was too much 😂Really good tho!

I got the breakfast Burrito and it was delicious, the hashbrowns is out of this word mis with cheese. Love it. I definitely coming back.

Been here a few times but and love it every single time. The coffee is perfectly blended. The West Coast Arnold is savory with so many delicious flavors. The portion sizes are more than enough. Definitely recommend.

Amazing breakfast! Great service, noisy but not bad. Huge portions, I'd share if we did it again. Breakfast burrito had everything in it. Order the short stack, 3-15in pancakes is too much. This is a brunch win.

Surprisingly good food at a reasonable price. My style for sure.

Their portions are humongous, I was only able to eat one of those 3 pancakes, the price was great as well as the service. my friend enjoyed her burrito, they hot chocolate and alcoholic drinks aren't worth it, but I'm very picky with my drinks.

It wasn't what I expected. Food was medium, Drinks excellent but there was one waiter that would warned a return visit, his custom service was on point and the funniest thing is he wasn't our original waiter. Visit with your taste buds and mind open.

This is by far the best Toasted Yolk in town, AND the best food I've tasted since moving to Texas. There is NEVER an off day, the staff is fabulous and kind, and the food is ALWAYS on point. I suggest trying everything on the menu if you can. If there is a wait when you get there, it's because the food and the experience is worth the wait.

A hidden gem! Love this place, the staff is super nice and the quesadillas are huge and tasty.

Great atmosphere, food and service! Had the West Coast Arnold which was absolutely delicious, all flavors blended really well. The French Toast was good but nothing to rave about. Losing one star for running out of mimosas by 11:30am.

The service was great. The waitresses were very attentive and careful. The food itself was good and in large portions.

Timely service and hearty serving size for the price. Would recommend to anyone wanting more than just a drive thru breakfast sandwich.

Wait was not too bad even with a full house. The staff were a tad overwhelmed but amazingly still attentive. The hallmark was the food. The eggs benedict were delightful both the original and the West Coast version. Eggs were delightfully fluffy and grits smooth as silk. The curve I didn't see coming that will bring me back is the churro donuts. Churros in donut form is such a simple concept but executed MASTERFULLY. I could order those by the pallet! This is one of the better brunch spots that wasn't plagued by ridiculous pricing. If this restaurant does takeout please consider this while you're stuck at home for your next morning plate.

Nice breakfast place, good food, they made a mistake, but they were happy to fix it. Our server was very nice, very sweet. Orange juice was fresh and good. I recommend ordering the seasonal fruit as your side dish. Pretty good.

Great place! Interesting menu with a lot of choices. I was pleasantly surprised they also serve wine and alcoholic drinks too. Love the big heavy coffee cups! Service was great too! Only negative was server kept the coin change. Should round up not down if doesn’t want to use coins. Staff needs to be trained this practice is not acceptable and is going to reduce their tips also.

Another Texas Experience to plan for. Order the Texas Cowboy Special. Food was great. Service was great. Very clean

We just experienced the BEST breakfast we had in a very long time. I understand this location has been open for a week now.You're greeted at the door with masked smiles(due to the Corona) but you still see it in their eyes. The staff is extremely friendly. Our server Allison was very attentive as though we were her only table, although we weren't. I ordered the Atlantic Arnold (Salmon Eggs Benedict) which was perfectly delicious. I haven't been able to find a place in Houston that knows how to do it up right. It's been over a year since I found someone that knew what they were doing and I had to go to Seattle Washington for it. Kudos to the Chef at The Toasted Yolk Cafe! My husband had the Golden Gate omelet and said he enjoyed every bit of it and wants to go back tomorrow for breakfast. Delicious food at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place.

I am totally upset. My daughter has been bragging about the French dip sandwiches for months. Today I decided to come and meet my daughter for this well known sandwich. Low and behold it is no longer being served. How dare they. That was a taste of where I was raised in the Midwest according to my daughter. I’m so disappointed. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

Best Breakfast and lunch around always friendly and fast service. It's hard to find a good place to eat anymore. I go often enough that I see and talk to the same people. The food is awesome, staff and managers are always welcoming. Never disappoints

A lot of really good food at a fair price! Brisket scramble was excellent as was the blueberry French toast. Friendly waitresses. Highly recommended!

A great place for breakfast. Trendy little restaurant in North Houston Texas. Plenty of great breakfast choices on the menu. I had the Philly Scramble, and highly recommended it to any hungry person. We shared the donuts churro style, and they were awesome.
